Participants in the ISTP January 6-11, 1997 CME/Magnetic Cloud Event Workshop convened at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center April 8 - 9, 1997, for a series of discussions and sessions involving the origin, evolution, and geomagnetic impact of the event.

Because the workshop was only a two-day event, the participants were encouraged to present "posters" via the web, so that other participants can familiarize themselves with ongoing research before attending the workshop.
