Data Visualization Tools
The ISTP Science Planning and Operations Facility ( SPOF) provides access to pre-generated Survey Plots of Key Parameter Data.

The ISTP Science Planning and Operations Facility ( SPOF) also provides the Key Parameter Visualization Tool ( KPVT), and IDL-based system to access all ISTP KP data. ISTP users may run the KPVT on the ISTP-CDHF, or they may retrieve the source code via anonymous ftp from the CDHF or from ISTP website for use at their home institution.

The Coordinated Data Analysis Web ( CDAWeb) System developed by the Space Physics Data Facility provides interactive plotting, ASCII listings, and data retrieval access (ASCII or CDF) to the ISTP Key Parameter Data.

The visualization software underlying CDAWeb is also IDL-based, and is provided via anonymous ftp from NSSDC.

Science Planning Tools
For planning of ISTP science operations, the ISTP Science Planning and Operations Facility uses the Satellite Situation Center Software Tools ( SSC) developed by NSSDC and the SPDF.

CDHF and Related Tools
The ISTP CDHF has a number of software packages and routines available to aid in the access, use, and analysis of ISTP data products:
• Coordinate transformation routines for converting between various coordinate systems
• Software for generating SFDUs
• Terminal emulation packages for use on UNIX systems
• Automatic CDF Verification Software for verifying compliance to ISTP standards
• Magnetospheric Magnetic Field Modeling
