ACE 27 day Key Parameter Survey Plots

NOTE that the ISTP Key Parameter data is provided as a BROWSE product, intended to aid in the selection of intervals for futher study. As such, Key Parameter data should not be used for publiction without prior consent from the appropriate Principal Investigator(s).

Plot Format

These plots are generated over a Carrington rotation, whose number is indicated at the top of the top of each plot. The ACE 27 day survey plots show, from top to bottom :

Plasma bulk speed |V| in km/sec
Proton number density Np in particles/cc
Plasma flow polar angle theta (GSE) in degrees
Plasma flow polar angle phi (GSE) in degrees
Plasma thermal speed Vth in km/sec
Dynamic pressure Psw in nPa
Magnetic field magnitude |B| in nT
Magnetic field polar angle theta in degrees
Magnetic field polar angle phi in degrees
Electric field componet Ey = Vx*Bz in mV/m

The day relative to the start of the Carrington Rotation is listed along the time axis, along with the doy of year (DOY) and day of month (DOM).
