EXPLANATION OF MOON CHECK

The purpose of this plot is to check for periods when the moon lies near or within the FOV of VIS. The red curve is the angle the MOON makes with EARTH horizon from the viewpoint of the POLAR SPACECRAFT. This angle must be greater than zero for moon danger. The blackcurve is the angle between the moon vector and the boresite vector of the imagers. If the black curve is less than 14.1 degrees and the red curve is positive, then a moon danger situation will occur. If a moon danger situation occurs, a report, titled 'moon_check_yyddd.list', danger will be created that lists the times of danger.
