EXPLANATION OF PLAN CHECK
The purpose of this plot is to check for sun danger, estimate SEPS cumulative
sun exposure time, and gauge how well the modeled magnetic field lies in the SEPS field of view.
- The absolute value of the pitch angle difference between the boresight and the sun vector is shown in the top panel. When the absolute value of the sun latitude is less than or equal to 20 degrees and the difference in pitch angle is less than 24 degrees a sun violation message occurs. The dashed horizontal line indicates
the SEPS anti-boresight violation zone.
- The middle panel indicates the cumulative SEPS sun exposure time.
- The bottom panel indicates the angle between the boresight direction and the Earth centered dipole magnetic field.
