Discovery Science Channel Supports NASA's Sun-Earth Days

Discovery Science Channel is pleased to support NASA's Sun-Earth Days with two special programs, SAVAGE SUN and THE SUN, premiering on Saturday, April 28, 2001, at 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. E.T. respectively. SAVAGE SUN presents the most amazing images of the sun yet gathered and explores both the creative and destructive forces of this life-sustaining body of our solar system. THE SUN features the new technologies that scientists have been using to unlock the secrets of our planet's nearest star. Encore presentations of SAVAGE SUN will air at 11:00 p.m. on April 28 and 4:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m., noon and 3:00 p.m. E.T. on Sunday, April 29. THE SUN will be rebroadcast at midnight on Saturday, April 28 and at 5:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. E.T. on Sunday, April 29.
