How the Sun Works:

Sun Each second, the sun turns 4 million tons
of hydrogen into energy (<.01% total)

Hydrogen burning:
4H -> 1 He + 25 MeV + 2 neutrinos

It takes a photon of light about 170,000
years to travel from the Sunís core to
the bottom of the convection zone
