The Polar instrument teams have an "open" data policy, although use of the data is subject to the ISTP Rules of the Road. Products from the instrument teams are:

The primary format for all processed ISTP data in the NSSDC archive is the Common Data Format (CDF). Some products are generated in Flexible Image Transport System (FITS) or ASCII formats instead.
